Police Officer Charged, North Coast Region 4 September

A 40-year-old male Sergeant from North Coast Region has been charged in relation to allegations of accessing, possessing and distributing child exploitation material.

The member has been charged with three counts of possessing child exploitation material and one count of distributing child exploitation material, allegedly committed while off duty.

The member has been suspended from the Queensland Police Service and is expected to appear in the Sandgate Magistrates Court on 11 September 2025.
