Police officer charged with drink driving in Southern Region

A police officer will face court this month over a drink driving offence, NSW Police say.

The offence allegedly occurred yesterday evening yesterday.

The 42-year-old senior constable, who is attached to a local area command within the Southern Region, was issued a Field Court Attendance Notice. His NSW drivers licence was suspended as a result of the incident.

He is due to appear before Goulburn Local Court on Wednesday August 31 2016.

The senior constable’s duty status is being reviewed.
