Police officer dismissed in Northern Region, QLD

A 56-year-old male Senior Constable from the Northern Region has been dismissed from the Queensland Police Service, Queensland Police say.

The officer was subject of a disciplinary hearing in relation to misconduct involving untruthfulness, destroying evidence, making a false statement and failing to treat others with respect and dignity.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer has been dismissed for misconduct.
