Police officer returned to official duties, South Eastern Region

A 47-year-old male senior constable from South Eastern Region who was stood down from official duty with the Queensland Police Service on March 22, 2019 has had the stand down revoked.

The officer was subject of an investigation into allegations of inappropriate conduct in the workplace and in a public place. Court proceedings relating to the incident have been finalised and a disciplinary investigation is continuing.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct. This does not mean the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.
