Police officer served with Notice to Appear South Eastern Region

A 44 year old male Constable from South Eastern Region has been served with a Notice to Appear in relation to the indecent assault (section 352 Criminal Code) on a female officer on 21 April, 2017.  The officer is currently suspended and remains subject of an internal investigation.  The officer will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on 2 June, 2017, Queensland Police say.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct.  This does not mean that the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.
