Police officer stood down, Operations Support Command

A 38-year-old male Senior Constable from Operations Support Command has been stood down from official duty with the Queensland Police Service, Queensland Police say.

The officer is the subject of a Crime and Corruption Commission investigation concerning an allegation of excessive force.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct.

This does not mean that the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.
