Police officer stood down South Eastern Region

A Constable from the South Eastern Region has been stood down from official duty with the Queensland Police Service and will be tasked to perform non-operational duties, Queensland Police say.

The officer is the subject of an investigation regarding allegations of wilful damage and public nuisance whilst off duty. The 26-year-old male officer is currently subject of an internal investigation.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct. This does not mean that the allegations against the officers have been substantiated.
