A police operation has concluded after a suspicious item was reported in Sydney's North.
About 12.25pm today (Wednesday 30 July 2025), emergency services were called to Miller Street, North Sydney, following reports a suspicious noise was heard from a post box.
Officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command established a perimeter around the item, which was examined by specialist police from the Rescue and Bomb Disposal Unit and declared safe.
The perimeter has been released and there is no safety risk to the public.
