Police probe after fire in Chatswood

Police are investigating after a fire in Chatswood overnight, NSW Police say.

Just after 10pm (24 January 2016), emergency services were called to an education facility on Centennial Avenue, Chatswood, following reports of a fire.

Officers from North Shore Local Area Command attended and found a single story building in the premises well alight.

Fire & Rescue NSW attended and extinguished the blazed.

There were no reports of injury as a result of the blaze.

A crime scene has been established at the location. At this stage it is believed the fire is suspicious.

Investigations are continuing.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
