Police probe armed robbery in South Grafton

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station at South Grafton, NSW Police say.

Just after 1.30am yesterday, two men entered the store on Schwinghammer Street armed with a number of weapons.

The pair threatened the attendant, a 47-year-old man, and his 13-year-old son.

They demanded money before fleeing with cash and items from the store.

Police were alerted and officers from Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command established a crime scene and commenced inquiries.

Investigators are appealing for public assistance in an attempt to identify and locate those involved.

The men are both described as being of Caucasian appearance, with a medium build and approximately 170cm to 175cm tall.

Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
