Police probe crash in Casula

Police are investigating a three-vehicle crash in Casula last night, NSW Police say.

About 9.15pm today, emergency services were called to the intersection of Holston Street and the Hume Highway following reports of a crash.

Initial investigations suggest a black Lexus IS250, driven by a 51-year-old woman, crashed into a silver Mazda hatch, which in turn crashed into a black Lexus sedan, at the intersection.

The 51-year-old woman was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.

The driver of the Mazda, a 35-year-old woman, was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the second Lexus, a 22-year-old man, received minor injuries.

A crime scene was established and examined by specialist officers.

Investigations are continuing and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
