Police probe pedestrian crash in Bonnyrigg

Police are investigating following a pedestrian crash at Bonnyrigg this morning, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to a carpark on Bonnyrigg Avenue, about 11.15am today (Saturday 23 December 2017), following reports a person had been hit by a car.

The pedestrian, a man aged in his 50s, was treated at the scene and taken to hospital with critical head injuries.

The elderly male driver of the vehicle is assisting police with inquiries.

Investigations continue but it does not appear as though the incident was deliberate.

Police are urging anyone with information that may assist Strike Force Babel investigators to call Crime Stoppers.
