A man has died in a stabbing incident in Albury, NSW Police say.
About 8.30pm today, police were called to a reported stabbing on Webb Street, Lavington.
Police attended and located a 35-year-old man with a stab wound to the chest.
Ambulance Paramedics conveyed the man to Albury Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Police from Albury Local Area Command established a crime scene on Webb Street and have commenced inquiries.
Witnesses have told police the victim was involved in an altercation with another man on the front lawn of a property when the stabbing occurred.
No arrests have yet been made.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
