Police have established a crime scene following the stabbing of a man in Claymore overnight, NSW Police say.
Shortly after 1.30am tomorrow, emergency services were called to a home on Preston Way following reports of a stabbing.
On arrival officers located a man inside the home, believed to be aged in his late twenties, suffering a number of stab wounds.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Detectives from Macquarie Fields Local Area Command have been called to the home and will continue the investigation.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
