Police probe suspected street racing crash in Cabramatta

Two cars have crashed during a suspected street race in Cabramatta overnight, NSW Police say.

About 12.35am tomorrow, a red Toyota Corolla and a black Nissan Skyline were reportedly racing on the Hume Highway when they collided.

The Corolla crashed through the front fence of a home landing on the front lawn. The driver and two of the occupants of the vehicle managed to free themselves, however the front passenger remained trapped.

Emergency services worked to the free the man before he was taken to Liverpool Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

The three other occupants of the vehicle were also taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.

The Skyline failed to stop after the crash and a search for the vehicle and its occupants is now underway.

A crime scene has been established at the crash site while police conduct further investigations.
