Police Probe Suspicious Disappearance in Kelvin Grove 1 September

Detectives have released vision of three vehicles of interest as they continue investigations into the suspicious disappearance of a 56-year-old man from Kelvin Grove on August 21.

Andrew Burow's out of character disappearance was reported to police on Sunday, 24 August, with officers from Brisbane City Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) establishing Operation Veer on Wednesday, August 27.

A black 2010 BMW X3 bearing Queensland registration 802NX4, a black 2011 Ford Ranger utility bearing false QLD registration 257LX8 and a silver 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander wagon with QLD registration 385KU2 have all been seized by police and deemed vehicles of interest.

Investigators are also urging anyone who may have seen the vehicles, including anyone with relevant footage or dashcam of the vehicles in the Brisbane, Ipswich, Yarraman, Blackbutt and Sunshine Coast areas between Thursday 21 August and Friday 26 August, to contact police.

Multiple crime scenes have been established across Southeast Queensland, with officers remaining at a Kokoda Avenue, Bli Bli, address.

Specialist police, including dive squad officers, have assisted with the search for Andrew.

Police and family hold significant concerns for Andrew's welfare as he has not contacted anyone since his disappearance.
