Police Probe Trio of Public Shootings in SW Sydney

Police are appealing for information about three public place shootings in south-west Sydney overnight.

The first incident occurred just after 11.15pm (Wednesday 19 November 2025), when police were called to Margaret Street, Fairfield, after shots were fired at a house before a dark-coloured SUV left the scene. A man and woman – aged in their 20s –in the home at the time were not injured.

About 11.55pm, police were called to Aberdeen Street, Bossley Park, after a single shot was fired at a caravan parked on the street before a white Audi sedan left the scene. There were no injuries reported due to this incident.

Shortly before 3am (Thursday 20 November 2025), police were called to McIlwraith Street, Wetherill Park, after shots were fired at a business before a black SUV or utility left the scene. There were no injuries reported due to this incident.

Officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command established crime scenes at each location and an investigation has commenced by detectives.

Police are looking at whether the incidents are connected, or if there are connections to two overnight car fires, one at Kings Langley and a second at Lalor Park.
