Police reappeal after fatal hit-and-run in Guildford

Police are reappealing for information following a fatal hit-and-run crash in Sydney’s west earlier this year.

About 9.15pm on Saturday 21 May 2016, a 39-year-old woman was attempting to cross Rawson Road at the intersection of Campbell Hill Road, Guildford, when she was struck by a vehicle, NSW Police say.

Responding police performed CPR at the scene which was later continued by NSW Ambulance Paramedics.

The woman was taken to Westmead Hospital; however, she died in hospital.

The driver of the vehicle allegedly involved failed to stop following the crash.

Officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit are continuing with their inquiries and continue to urge any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
