Police release images following a break, enter and steal in Lakemba

Police have released CCTV images of two people who may be able to assist with inquiries following a break, enter and steal incident in Lakemba, NSW Police say.

Just after midnight on Saturday 4 June 2016, two individuals gained entry to a business in Lakemba, broke into a safe inside the property and stole an amount of cash.

Officers from Campsie Local Area Command initiated an investigation and have released images of two people who may be able to assist with inquiries.

One person is shown with their face partly covered with a scarf and was wearing a blue-hooded zip-up jacket, blue track pants and black shoes and was carrying a back pack.

The second person depicted in the images has their face partly covered with a scarf and was wearing a purple a beanie hat, a blue zip-up jacket with thick white stripe down each sleeve, camouflage army pants and dark shoes.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
