Police renew appeal as investigation continues into woman's death in Bundeena

Police have released an image as they renew appeals for information following the death of a woman in Sydney’s south yesterday afternoon, NSW Police say.

About 3.30pm yesterday, emergency services were called to a home on Beachcomber Avenue, Bundeena, where they located the body of a 51-year-old woman.

Upon arrival police also found a 17-year-old male with an injured arm. He was taken to Sutherland Hospital for treatment.

A crime scene was established at the home, which was examined by detectives and forensic specialists.

Officers from Sutherland Local Area Command and State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad are continuing investigations and have now released an image of 51-year-old Stephen Boyd who police believe can assist with their inquiries.

Mr Boyd is the partner of the 51-year-old woman and police would like to speak to him.

It’s believed he is driving a silver 2002 model Holden Commodore sedan; bearing NSW registration plates BZ 53 ZO.

Anyone with information on Mr Boyd’s whereabouts is urged to come forward.

Should members of the community see Mr Boyd, they’re urged not to approach him, but to contact Triple Zero (000) immediately.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
