Police renew appeal for missing man Andrew Hobbs, SA

Police are renewing their appeal to the public to help locate missing 62-year-old man Andrew Hobbs, according to SA Police.

Mr Hobbs, 62, was last seen at Clarence Park about 2.30pm on Tuesday 1 May. Police and his family are concerned for his welfare.

He is described as Caucasian, 178cm tall, balding with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a grey top and long grey pants.

Inquiries into Mr Hobbs disappearance by Detectives from Sturt CIB have revealed that he was near the southern side of the River Torrens outlet at West Beach about 4.45pm on Tuesday 1 May. At that time, police believe he was in possession of a black backpack, a bright blue bag and was riding a red bicycle.

On Thursday 3 May, a member of the public handed in a number of items to the Henley Beach Police station that have been identified as belonging to Mr Hobbs. The items were found near the walking trail on the southern side of the River Torrens outlet.
