Police Respond to Glenore Grove Fatal Crash

A man has died following a traffic crash involving a pedestrian and a car at Glenore Grove today, 19 April.

Police and emergency services were called to Brightview Road just after 5am following reports a white Toyota Corolla had collided with a male pedestrian, believed to be lying on the road.

The pedestrian, a 23-year-old Lockrose man, received medical assistance however died at the scene.

The driver, a 61-year-old Brightview woman, was physically uninjured.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations into the circumstances leading up to the crash are ongoing.

Anyone who observed a man walking on Brightview Road around 5am, or with vision that may assist with investigations is urged to contact police.
