Approximately 6:00pm on Monday 16 January 2023, police and Ambulance Tasmania attended a single vehicle motorcycle crash on Scott Road, Bridgewater.
Police allege that a 42-year-old Bridgewater man was riding a motorcycle on Scott Rd, Bridgewater when he collided with an electrical transformer box and light pole.
No one else was involved in the crash.
Ambulance Tasmania transported him to the Royal Hobart Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
While investigations are continuing, police believe excessive speed was a contributing factor.
