Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Moonford

Forensic Crash officers are seeking witnesses to a traffic crash that claimed the life of a 42-year-old woman at Moonford near Monto today, August 23.

Around 6.30pm, police were called after the female driver and sole occupant of a Toyota Hilux lost control of the vehicle on a bend on the Burnett Highway hitting a culvert on the side of the road.

The driver, a 42-year-old Millbank woman, died at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam to assist investigations is urged to contact police.
