Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Kippa-Ring

A man has died following a two-vehicle traffic crash at Kippa-Ring last night, June 16.

Around 9.33pm, emergency services were called to a crash involving a black Suzuki RF900 and white MItsubishi Fuso at the Anzac Avenue and Oleander Street intersection.

The mini bus caught on fire and rolled into a parked vehicle on Oleander Street.

The Suzuki rider, a 26-year-old Rothwell man, sustained critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.

The Mitsubishi driver, a 51-year-old Clontarf man, was transported to Redcliffe Hospital with minor burns.

The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Police are appealing to anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage of the crash, and the moments leading up to the crash, to contact police.
