Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Bongaree

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash in Bongaree this morning, 14 July.

Initial investigations indicate a woman, who was riding an e-bike, and a Ford Falcon were both traveling east on Goodwin Drive when they collided around 8.30am.

The e-bike rider, a 79-year-old Banksia Beach woman, died at the scene.

The driver and sole occupant of the Ford was not injured.

Investigations are ongoing.
