Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Atherton 17 July

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal traffic crash in Atherton this morning, July 17.

Initial information indicates around 11.45am, a Toyota Landcrusier collided with a Subaru towing a caravan at the intersection of the Kennedy Highway and Malanda Atherton Road.

Emergency services attended however the occupants of the Landcruiser, a man and woman in their eighties, were declared deceased at the scene.

Investigations are ongoing, anyone with information or relevant vision is urged to contact police.
