Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Bowen Hills 28 August

A motorcyclist has died following a traffic crash in Bowen Hills yesterday, August 27.

Around 7.40pm, police and emergency services were called to a traffic crash at the intersection of Allison Street and the Inner City Bypass, involving a blue Volvo station wagon and a motorcycle.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 28-year-old Thorneside woman, was declared deceased at the scene.

The driver of the station wagon, a 29-year-old Hamilton man, was not physically injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
