Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Gold Coast 22 September

A teenager has died following a traffic crash in Tallebudgera this afternoon, 22 September.

Around 4pm, a Mitsubishi Outlander was headed east on Tallebudgera Creek Road when it collided with an e-bike at the intersection with Fenton Drive.

The rider, a 17-year-old Tallebudgera boy, died at the scene.

His pillion passenger, also a 17-year-old Tallebudgera boy, was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital with minor injuries.

The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 65-year-old Robina man, was taken to Robina Hospital with minor injuries.

Anyone with further information or with relevant footage is urged to contact police.

Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are ongoing.
