Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At West Ipswich

Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a single vehicle motorcycle crash in West Ipswich overnight.

Preliminary inquiries indicate at 8pm a motorcycle was headed west on Old Toowoomba Road when it crashed at the One Mile Bridge.

The rider, a 41-year-old Ipswich man, was transported to hospital but died a short time later.

Investigators are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant footage to contact police.

Investigations remain ongoing.
