Investigations indicate around 10.15pm, a motorcycle was travelling south on Kingston Road and went to turn right into Pilbi Street, when it collided with a white Honda Accord, travelling north.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 17-year-old Slacks Creek boy, died at the scene.
The driver and two passengers travelling in the sedan were not physically injured.
Investigations are ongoing.
The Queensland Police Service is committed to reducing the number of lives lost on our roads.
Data shows that serious crashes can be significantly reduced when drivers recognise and avoid the 'Fatal Five' behaviours: speeding, drink and drug driving, not wearing seatbelts, fatigue and distraction.
