The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash in Springbrook this morning, 29 November.
Initial investigations indicate that at around 10.30am, a grey Mitsubishi Triton was travelling along Gold Coast Springbrook Road when it left the roadway and went down an embankment.
The driver, a 61-year-old man from Mudgeeraba, was declared deceased at the scene.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to contact police.
The investigation remains ongoing.
