Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Kinka Beach

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a single-vehicle crash in Kinka Beach on 14 December.

At around 3.19am, the vehicle was travelling along Kingsway Boulevard when it left the roadway, went down an embankment and struck a tree.

The vehicle then caught alight as a result of the crash.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 29-year-old man from Causeway Lake, died at the scene.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
