Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Bajool 14 January

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash in Bajool on 13 January.

Around 8.40pm, emergency services were called to the Bruce Highway, following reports a white Ford Mondeo station wagon had collided with a pedestrian near Oakey Creek Road.

The driver of the Ford, a 29-year-old Keppel Sands man, was treated at the scene by emergency services and is assisting police with their enquiries.

The male pedestrian died at the scene.

Investigators are appealing to any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam vision to come forward.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations are ongoing.
