Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Maryborough

Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating a single vehicle traffic crash at Ferney overnight.

Initial investigations indicate at 9.15pm a dual cab 4WD was travelling on River Road when the driver has lost control of the vehicle and hit a number of trees.

The driver and sole occupant of the 4WD, a 41-year-old Rural View man, died at the scene.

The incident happened between Six Mile Road and Snapper Street.

Investigations are continuing.
