Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Cashmere

Police are investigating a fatal crash involving two vehicles at Cashmere, north of Brisbane this morning.

Initial information suggests a Hyundai Getz was travelling along Kremzow Road when collided with a Mitsubishi Triton travelling in the opposite direction at around 10.15am.

The driver of the Hyundai, a 26-year-old Warner man, suffered significant injuries as a result of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has dash-cam footage to come forward.
