Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Bajool

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a man died in a two-vehicle crash at Bajool this morning.

Investigations indicate that at about 8.15am, a gold-coloured utility and front-end loader collided while travelling on the Bruce Highway.

A53-year-old man, the driver and sole occupant of the utility, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A 45-year-old man, the driver and sole occupant of the loader, was transported to Rockhampton Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is asking for anyone with information on the crash, or dash-cam footage, to contact police.
