The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a single-vehicle crash at Ayr this afternoon, 9 November.
Police were called to Railway Street around 3.45pm to reports a white Kia Sorento had crashed into a tree.
The driver, a 66-year-old Ayr man, was declared deceased at the scene.
Investigations are ongoing.
