Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Brighton

Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Brighton overnight.

Preliminary investigations indicate around 7.45pm, a motorcycle collided with a power pole on Nathan Street.

The rider, a 49-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The 36-year-old female pillion was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Forensic Crash investigators are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam vision to contact police.
