A man has died following a single-vehicle traffic crash in Brinsmead overnight.
Around 12.15am, the driver of a white Toyota Landcruiser travelling on Reservoir Road lost control of the vehicle which then left the road and crashed into a ditch.
The male driver was declared deceased at the scene.
The female passenger was transported to Cairns Hospital with minor injuries.
Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
Anyone travelling in the vicinity around midnight last night who has dashcam footage is urged to contact police.
