Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Maranoa

Two boys have died following a fatal traffic crash at Mount Abundance earlier today.

Early investigations suggest just before 11.50am this morning, four people were travelling in a Toyota Landcruiser along a dirt track when it hit a ditch and rolled.

The driver and a passenger, both aged 16, were transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Two boys, aged 16 and 10, died at the scene.

Investigations into the circumstances of the crash continue.
