Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Redland Bay

Police investigating a fatal crash in Redland Bay on Friday are seeking a witness who stopped to contact police.

Inquiries indicate at 9.35am a Hyundai sedan was travelling on Serpentine Creek Road when it has turned right into Cleveland Redland Bay Road and collided with a Toyota utility which was travelling south on Cleveland Redland Bay Road.

The driver of the Hyundai, a 70-year-old Beaudesert woman, died at the scene.

The driver of the utility received minor injuries.

Police would like to speak to the driver of a silver Suzuki Swift who stopped at the scene and is believed to have witnessed the crash.
