Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Incident At Glasshouse Mountains

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic incident in the Glasshouse Mountains this morning, 15 October.

Around 6.45am, police were called to reports of a pedestrian being stuck by a truck on Steve Irwin Way, between Bowen Road and Reed Street.

The pedestrian, a man in his 60s, died at the scene.

The truck driver, a 63-year-old man, was not injured.

Investigations into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.

Witnesses, including anyone with relevant information or vision, is urged to contact police.
