About 1.50pm today (Monday 27 May 2019), police were called to North Silverdale Road, near Pineridge Crescent after reports of a single truck crash.
It is believed a branch from a tree has struck the window of the truck, causing it to lose control before hitting a tree.
The male driver, aged in his 30s, was airlifted to Nepean Hospital in a stable condition. The male passenger died at the scene.
Silverdale Road is closed in both directions and a crime scene has been established.
