Police Responding To Serious Traffic Crash At Bellmere

Forensic Crash Unit are investigating following a single vehicle traffic crash in Bellmere this morning, 15 March.

Police and emergency services were called to Bellmere Road just before 9am in relation to a single motorcycle crash.

Initial investigations indicate a black Kawasaki motorcycle has failed to negotiate a corner at the intersection of Bellmere Road and River Drive. The motorcycle has struck the centre medium strip, crashing through a fence and into a shed at the rear of a Daintree Street house. The motorcycle has collided with a car parked inside the shed.

The driver, a 31-year-old Narangba man, was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a serious condition.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has footage to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
