The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating following a serious traffic crash in Glenella tonight, 24 March.
Initial investigations indicate just after 6.30pm, a Nissan Micra has turned in front of a Nissan Navara on Glenella Richmond Road at the intersection with Holts Road, with the vehicles colliding.
The driver of the Micra, an 18-year-old Bucasia woman, was transported to Mackay Base Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the Navara, a 53-year-old Andergrove woman, was treated for minor injuries.
Forensic Crash Unit investigators are investigating the circumstances of the incident and are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has footage to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
