Police Responding To Serious Traffic Crash At Palmview

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious traffic crash at Palmview this morning, 12 July.

Initial investigations indicate around 2:05am, a black Holden Commodore was driving dangerously on Frizzo Road and Pignata Road when it collided with a red Volvo C30.

As a result, two teenage boys, aged 15 and 17, were transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital with critical injuries.

The 17-year-old boy remains in a serious but stable condition.

The 15-year-old boy was later airlifted to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a life-threatening condition.

The Volvo driver, an 18-year-old man, sustained minor injuries.
