Police responding to serious traffic crash at Ashmore

Police are investigating a serious two-vehicle traffic crash in Ashmore last night.

Just after 9pm, a car and motorcycle collided on Southport Nerang Road near Cran Street.

The 45-year-old motorcyclist was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The 18-year-old female driver of the car was not physically injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
