Police search for Charlene Grigsby

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Hawthorn girl Charlene Grigsby, Victoria Police say.

Charlene was last seen leaving her home on Bills Street this morning.

The 12-year-old does not have her phone or wallet with her.

She left her house on foot and does not have her MYKI on her.

Police and family have concerns for Charlene’s welfare due to health concerns and her disappearance is considered out of character.

She is possibly still in the Kew or Hawthorn area.

Charlene was last seen wearing a black jumper, black tracksuit pants and Asics runners that are purple, pink and grey.

She is described as being 165cm tall, perceived to be of Caucasian appearance with black shoulder-length hair.

Police have also released an image of Charlene in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information on her current whereabouts.

Anyone who sees Charlene is urged to call Boroondara Police Station on 8851 1111.
