Police search for farm burglars - Bealiba

Central Goldfields Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after more than $50,000 worth of farming equipment was stolen from a farm in Bealiba last weekend, Victoria Police say.

It is believed an unknown number of offenders have attended the address between 29 October and 2 November, and forced entry to the address.

Police were told the thieves cut the fence and are believed to have driven several vehicles onto the premises.

It has been reported that a large amount of property was stolen, including:

•A 2009 black ‘Applegate (APEL)’ box trailer with the registration "S60595"

•A 2015 orange ‘KTM SX 85’ motorcycle with the registration "2910G"

•A 2016 orange ‘KTM 300EXC’ motorcycle

•A 2005 blue ‘Yamaha WR250’ motorcycle

•A camouflage ‘Polaris UForce 800 All-Terrain Vehicle’

•A red ‘Polaris’ quad bike with roll bars and a spotlight

•and a Green ‘John Deere’ 140 ride on lawn mower

A number of other power tools and equipment were also taken during the incident.

The thieves have then left the property, believed to be travelling in vehicles loaded with the stolen goods, toward St Arnaud Dunolly Road.
